Welcome to the IT Sanctuary!

We have established this members' hub with a firm goal in mind: to become a valuable resource in helping you to explore your company's technology options.

Our research shows that the Web is already a vital resource in helping you do that. In a recent survey, 75 per cent of respondents said that information garnered from online resources played an important role in IT procurement decisions.

But they also said that sorting the truly valuable information from the less-useful content that litters the web can be a real chore.

That got us thinking. For years, the people behind the IT Sanctuary have run closed discussion groups for IT professionals that focus not on sales pitches but on finding concrete solutions to real-life business problems. Within these forums, participants have temporarily put competitive issues to one side in order to share experiences, compare challenges and find answers together.

The success of that approach has led us to create a similar environment online.

The IT Sanctuary won't replace face-to-face human interaction - indeed, it's not our intention that it should. However, its founders do intend that participants will draw similar value from the knowledge-sharing that takes place on the hub.

Right now, it's early days for the IT Sanctuary - but we already have a dedicated editorial team in place, waiting to hear your ideas on how the site should develop. Over time, our goal is to develop timely, fresh content in response to members' stated interests, projects and strategies.

Your participation is key. If you want to have your say, speak up!

And in the meantime, take a look at what we've developed so far. What do you think? What would you like to see covered in future? We'll take our lead from you.
